Located 35 km from Kedougou and less than ten kilometers from Guinea, the Dindefelo waterfall is (in addition to a natural paradise) a mystical place for the inhabitants of the area.

Getting there is not easy (at least until the roads are fixed). Still, we can assure you that it is a magical place that is worth visiting, not only for its natural environment but also for the fact of being able to stand just below a 100-meter high waterfall and feel how the waterfalls on your face. It is indeed incredible, and we can make this excursion happen!

The Dindefelo waterfall is within the same name’s natural park and is the highest in Senegal, at 115 m. Tall. Dindefelo means “Next to the mountain” in Pulaar, the dialect of the Peul ethnic group, the majority in the Kegoudou region. It is very close to the border with Guinea Conakry.

The waterfall falls like a fine stream of water down an imposing wall of layered rock, partly covered by vegetation. You’ll fall in love with the spectacular environment and landscape of this place.
